In comparison to the price of 3" of new Crushed Limestone with dust @ $25.00/ton delivered , here are a few examples of the cost of Gravel Tech's Restoration Process vs. having Additional gravel spread by the procedure of "Tailgating", which not only leaves you at the mercy of the driver's skill (or lack thereof) but also causes "Layering" - the result of applying a loose material on top of a hard packed, very uneven surface. Additionally, the new gravel will take the exact same shape of the underlying driveway. Just a few inches thicker.

Please note that Gravel Tech does NOT haul, sell, or deliver any gravel at all. We do however, provide the labor and equipment necessary to restore a gravel driveway using the existing driveway material.

The formula gravel pits use to calculate required tonnage for a 3" application is: Length x Width x Depth x 100 ÷ 2000

 

eg: 600' x 10'x .25ft (or 3") = 1500

1500 x 100 = 150000

150000 ÷ 2000 = 75 tons

75 tons x $25 = $1875.00
